The Origins of Tensai
Founded by former Big 4 partners and industry CIOs, Tensai Partners was born from a recurring observation. Major transformation programs—ERP implementations, post-merger integrations, global operating model redesigns—routinely failed not due to technological limitations, but due to structural governance deficits.
When the entities implementing the change are the same entities reporting on its progress, risk is inherently downplayed. "Green watermelon" reporting (green on the outside, red on the inside) becomes the norm. By the time executive steering committees realize the depth of the issue, the recovery cost is astronomical.
We built Tensai to serve as the structural counterweight. We sit on the client side of the table, providing the unvarnished truth, backed by data, and armed with the frameworks necessary to enforce accountability.
