Advisory Services

Implementation Governance.

Providing independent oversight of Systems Integrators (SIs) and external vendors. We act as the owner's engineer, ensuring systemic accountability and protecting the client from scope manipulation.

The Conflict of Interest

The "Fox Guarding the Henhouse" Paradigm

Allowing an implementation partner to govern their own delivery is fundamentally flawed. SIs are incentivized by billable hours and change requests, not by the leanest, fastest path to value realization.

Tensai Partners breaks this paradigm. We sit on the client's side of the table, possessing the deep technical and programmatic expertise required to challenge the SI's estimates, validate their architecture, and audit their deliverables with clinical objectivity.

The Owner's Engineer Advantage

  • ■ Estimate Validation: Challenging inflated vendor timelines and resource allocations.
  • ■ Architecture Review: Ensuring the proposed solution aligns with enterprise strategy, not just vendor capabilities.
  • ■ Change Control Enforcement: Aggressively mitigating vendor-driven scope creep.
Core Oversight Modules

Systemic Accountability

01

Deliverable Auditing

We do not accept "done" at face value. We apply a rigorous Acceptance Criteria framework to independently verify that technical and business deliverables meet contracted quality standards before sign-off.

02

Vendor SLA Enforcement

Continuous monitoring of vendor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) during implementation. We track defect resolution times, resource turnover rates, and environment stability to hold partners financially accountable.

03

Change Request Mitigation

Establishing a draconian Change Control Board (CCB) process. We require vendors to empirically prove that a requested change is a true scope addition, not a remediation of their own initial omission.

The Deliverable Acceptance Framework

Objective Verification

Phase SI Claims Tensai Independent Verification
Design "Blueprint is complete." Audit traceability from business requirements to technical specs.
Build "Development is on track." Analyze code commit velocity, unit test coverage, and defect backlogs.
Test "UAT is successful." Validate test script severity coverage and independent user sign-off integrity.
